Market Rasen

Market Rasen is a picturesque rural town that boasts a racecourse!

Set in its rural surroundings Market Rasen is the only racecourse in Lincolnshire and offers a unique experience. The friendly family atmosphere, quality racing and amazing views around the course are unmatched any where in the country. It really is the perfect place for a great day out!

Lincoln offers an experience rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and a wealth of places to eat and drink.

The city is easily walkable for visitors with good mobility - the main shopping and tourist area stretches from St Marks Shopping centre in the south up to the Cathedral Quarter - known locally as 'Uphill'.

Steep Hill, voted Britain's Great Street 2012 connects 'downhill' and 'uphill' Lincoln. Yes it is steep as its name suggests, but well worth the walk!

Cleethorpes is a popular family seaside holiday resort nestling on the mouth of the River Humber set on the north-east coast of Lincolnshire.

The resort boasts over four miles of beautiful, sandy, award-winning beaches with a wide promenade, family attractions, gardens, boating lake and fine views of ships entering the nearby estuary.

Cleethorpes enjoys a million visitors each year and remains a traditional family favourite.

Donna Nook

Walesby Woodlands Caravan Park is only 26 miles away from Donna Nook National Nature Reserve. This coastline between Grainthorpe Haven in the North and Saltfleet in the South covers more than 6 miles and consists of dunes, slacks and intertidal areas, which provide a home for many important wildlife species. Every year in November – December grey seals return to Donna Nook coastline to give birth to their pups near the sand dunes. It is the largest breeding colony in the UK and attracts visitors from across the country. In 2007, the seal colony had its best breeding season on record, with about 1,194 pups born to the 3,500 resident grey seal colony.
